I took some days, surfed around the Net and got a list of services and applications, that are used for keyword research for setting profitable campaigns, finding both seasonal and long enduring trends and much more. Because i'll come to this more precicely when tying all aspects together, i just decided to share my list complete so far.

Google Trends

http://www.google.com/trends - http://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html - Free basic tool on which many niche trend research tools rely. Search keyword usage over several years, markets and languages as options. Seasons, booms, buzzes, everything is nicely seen here. Excellent, but not offering best keywords. You need to find them by yourself. Huh?

Google Keyword Tool

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal - Many counts on this and why not, it's a Google tool! You'll get some important information with it: Advertiser Competition, Approx Search Volume / month and Approx Avg Search Volume as well as related keyword suggestions. Good for brainstorming and getting new ideas.

GTrends Made Easy

http://www.benjaminmaker.com - This is a free windows application (which works on Mac thru virtualization softwares of cource), but there is no use with it, if you don't get a Wordze API key, which is commercial. Clear affiliation connection there.

Word Tracker Free Keywords

http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/gtrends - This must be mentioned separately! Free tool for determining niche trendsusing Google trends. Make a search and click result keywords stat button. Then you can see how phrase is competed versus how many searches there is in a month. Green "leds" shows you, that you have found a good canditate for the daily niche!

Seo Book Tools

http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php - Excellent free tool with search results linking various relevant resources mentioned on this keyword research list. It could have graphs included, but anyway, one of the best free tools.

Your brains

I should not mention this, but there are some conservative researchers, that swear on their brains or their colleaque's. In many sense that might be true, if you really are trained keyword hunter, but at least for rest of us, these tools are mandatory. I'm not saying, that you need to pay broken with them, because there are good free tools available. But as your experience evolves and business focuses, you can save or even earn a lot of money with proper keyword research and optimization.

Advance Web Ranking

http://advancedwebranking.com - More kind of search engine optimization tool, but can be used for basic keyword research as well. How big part of the SEO is the keyword optimization? Very big, thought they are not fully same thing. 30 days trial recommended.

Keyword Elite

http://www.keywordelite.com - Goes thru standard money making site layout templates, so i'm not sure, if this is reliable. Priced $176.00 one time fee.

Nichebot

http://www.nichebot.com - This is something i cannot tell much by own owrds, you need to see it! It's a total mess of information, but i'd say this is more reliable than Elite, full of current information, blog and news updated frequently, new things coming just in days. 14 day trial $1, $14 basic plan.

Keyword Country

http://www.keywordcountry.com - http://www.keywordcountry.com/try/ - One of the coolist tool, because it gives you very worthful data by automatic suggestions and calculations. With this tool it is possible to find most competitive keywords. Helpful and illustrative online screencasts. You can try free with sensured result data. Costs $49 / month.

Word Tracker Keywords

http://www.wordtracker.com - Generates relevant keywords to improve organic and PPC search campaigns. Helps research online markets, find niche opportunities and exploit them before competitors. You can get a 7 day free trial with credit card, risk free. $59 / month.

Wordze

http://www.wordze.com - Daily, Weekly, and Monthly search trends. See how a keyword is performing on any given day, week, or month. Peding patent on WordRank tool. Day Trial for $7.95 and Monthly for $38.98.

Keyword Discovery

http://www.keyworddiscovery.com - http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/search.html - Free tool with search, but has only one relevant result "total searches." Commercial version has excellent list set of features like: spelling mistakes, KEI analysis, density and so on. $69.95 / month or less on longer subscriptions.

Rank Tracker

http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/ - Belongs to less known tools. Like Advance Web Ranking, but lesser features. $87 one time fee for basic version.

Theme Zoom

http://www.themezoom.com - Belongs to less known tools as well. Could be called as "online market intelligence and keyword website integration tool." Keyword research is just a small part of this holistic online marketing tool. Quite a messy site, but interesting still.
